WELFARE GRANT LIMITS

The Board of Trustees has agreed welfare grant limits in England and Wales for 2001 effective from January. These are lower than those in place for 2000, in part a reflection of the growing ability of branches to provide support at local level. Updated copies of the Guide to Welfare Grants will shortly be sent  to branches in England and Wales. For your information meanwhile, the grant limits are given below. These limits are guidelines and the MS Services Committee is able to consider grants above these levels in exceptional circumstances. If you need information or advice about sources of funding, or if  you have any queries about the new grant limits, please contact the MS Society Grants Team on 020 8438 0700.
